As an out-of-townie on a quick trip to a Michigan Law graduation, my review for this gas station situated Tim Hortons will not be the most robust.
My husband said we just HAD to stop here as per the recommendation of one of our favorite directors/writers, Kevin Smith, who talks the Canadian donut chain up like it's everything you wished Santa clause would bring you on Christmas morning.
On our way from Ann Arbor to the airport in Detroit, we googled the location of the closest Tim Hortons and got this one: located but seconds from the freeway.
Drive-thru was BUSY, so we went inside, but only found ourselves waiting in another line. Okay -everyone needs their early morning breakfast on the run.
4 stars because the donuts were actually really good! Fresh-tasting!
Employees weren't particularly enthusiastic, but they weren't unfriendly.
Definitely reminds me of so many other hyped up chain restaurants: In n Out, Whattaburger, White Castle, Dunkin Donuts...
Tim Hortons is average, it's not mind blowing. -

We grabbed donuts on 9/8/19. One Boston creme, 2 chocolate glazed and 1 honey.
After the first bite of the Boston creme, it tasted like something was off - almost as if someone poured cleaner into the mix. With every bite, there was this perfumey/chemical taste. I could only stomach half of the donut before throwing the rest away.
I thought it was maybe just a bad batch of Boston creme - but my boyfriend tasted the same with the chocolate glazed. He was afraid to finish his since he didn't want to get sick and then we threw the other two in the trash.
You guys better check the donuts / mix that went into the 9/8/19 batch - something was very very very off. -

Worst Tim Hortons I've ever been to. I wanted a bacon and egg sandwich.... they didn't have eggs. Then I decided I wanted mixed berry oatmeal.... didn't have berries. They clearly also don't know how to make anything because they also messed up my Oreo iced cap.

Worst tim Hortons ever! Coffee is disgusting and the co worker with braids and Michigan shirt did not even say hello... tell us our total.... or say thank you. Not one word while we picked up our coffee. Extremely rude. Management needs to get better on who they hire because they will be losing a lot of business.

Good food but I order a plain bagel with cream cheese 10 minutes later I walked up to the counter and talked to the employees then they started to make my bagel after ten minutes and a reminder. But some of the employees are actually good
